RECOGNIZING THE BIRTHING OF NEW MOVEMENTS

Dear friends

Greetings from Singapore in Jesus' name!

In anticipation of what the Lord has prepared for 2012, we need to understand that certain processes birthed by the Holy Spirit will see a sudden acceleration in the coming year. We need to be alert and ready, not expecting that things will play out the way they have done in the past.

Be on your lookout for new moves of the Holy Spirit. The move might still involve a small number of people, but you will recognize it as the beginning of something great. A key aspect in the preservation of that movement will be the heart of the leader of the movement. You have to reach out to pray for that leader, to encourage him or her, to protect the leader from distractions and discouragement.

So many movements are actually born annually, only to die a premature death. Often the leader didn't have any support or encouragement, too often church leadership was less than enthusiastic about this new thing that was happening. Too often we stand back and wait to see whether the new move with the new leader will actually make it. This we cannot allow on our watch. When we see God moving somewhere, let us be swift to encourage and protect the new baby destined for greatness.

We have to protect these leaders from politics, from the pharisees, from the skeptics. Encourage them, bless them, pray for them, look for practical ways to hold their hands high.

By early recognizing these movements and their leaders and then moving in to stand with them, you will have a part in the great movements that will be birthed by God - and know for sure that 2012 will be a very exciting year for exactly this to happen.

My friend, may the Lord be with you, may His grace be abundant in your life. Love God, seek His face, focus on that which has eternal value, love those around you with all your heart.

Finally don't forget to fully enjoy the zoe life in abundance that we have all received in Christ. Enjoying HIS life will draw the weary and burdened from all directions to Christ in you.
